How to Draw Sebastian
Black Butler is another manga that is making headway into the anime world. All the characters where created by “Yana Toboso”. The story takes place in England back when Queen Victoria was ruling the country. The whole story follows a fellow named "Sebastian Michaelis" who happens to be a demonic butler that serves under “Ciel Phantomhive”. I know what you must be thinking, “what am I getting at”. Well, this tutorial is going to show you "how to draw Sebastian", step by step from Black Butler. There really isn't too much information that I can really say about this particular character or manga. There is six main characters in the series; Ciel Phantomhive, Finnian, Maylene, Bardroy, Tanaka, and of course Sebastian. Each individual has fair, almost powder white complexions and they are also very interesting looking. I'm not sure, but I think Black Butler is still being aired in Japanese and has not yet come into English anime yet. When it does I will be the first to check it out. Anyway that just about does it for this character description since there really isn't a whole lot I know about the new manga that is peaking up at us anime lovers. STEP 1.
Like every other character lesson, you will start this tutorial the same way. Draw a circle for the head and then add the facial guidelines. Next add the neck and attach it to the rectangular shaped torso. Lastly, draw the long stick legs, and then the arms.
STEP 2.
The best thing to do first is to enlarge the step to see exactly what you're doing. After you have done that you can begin sketching out the shape of his face structure, and then add the lining for his eyes, nose, and mouth. Next, start drawing the collar and shoulders, as well as the suit jacket collar.
STEP 3.
Here you will really get busy because you have to sketch out the entire hair style of Sebastian. Next finish his face, and then draw both of his arms and or sleeves as you see them here. Draw a tie, and then the rest of the jacket collar. Since he is a butler, you will also add a tray.
STEP 4.
Draw his hands which are covered by white gloves, and then draw the rest of his jacket and the vest that he is wearing under it. Add the buttons and then draw a skull and some bones on the platter. Bon appetit!
STEP 5.
The fir5st thing you are going to do is sketch out his thighs, and add the crease line on the front of his nicely ironed pants. Next draw the jacket tail to his tuxedo, and be sure to make it like it's blowing in the breeze.
STEP 6.
Your last drawing step is simple, all you have to do is finish sketching out the legs, cuff up the bottom of his pants, and then draw in his shoes. Add some minor detailing to define his outfit.
STEP 7.
