How to Draw Jill Valentine

"Wesker... you're PATHETIC.” That is the common phrase that you hear this chic say every once in a while. Remember when I said I was going to submit a lesson on another Resident Evil character in an earlier tutorial? Well here it is. I am going to show you “how to draw Jill Valentine, step by step”. She is one of the two main protagonist from the game series and a very popular one too at that. Her good friend and partner is Chris Redfield and together they become rivals of their captain and former employee from Umbrella, Albert Wesker. Jill is better known as being the hard core level headed female that is both tough and skilled. Before she was a B.S.A.A. Operative, she was a member of the S.T.A.R.S. Alpha team in Raccoon City. Many of you many not remember Ms. Valentine, but I can assure you that she has been a substantial character since the first Resident Evil release. She was the main character in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis which takes place after she had retired from S.T.A.R.S. and later went after the pharmaceutical company “Umbrella Chemical Inc”. Her common or more recognizable appearance is her wearing the typical combat uniform and beret. In the third series of RE, she is dressed in a blue tube top, black mini skirt, brown knee high boots, and a white sweater wrapped around her waist. In all of the series and movies, she is always seen sporting a short hairdo. In the movie version the human female that played Jill Valentine did an excellent job coming across as her game character. She even wore the same clothes, and had the same hand gun. I love the way that she came out, and I especially love how pretty her face looks. Learning "how to draw Jill Valentine" is a delightful way to end your artistic day. Have fun guys because I am now leaving this description so that you can tackle the lesson. Peace peeps, and happy drawing!

STEP 1.

As with any other full figure lesson, you will start this tutorial step the same. Draw a circle for the head and then add the structure of her jaw. Next draw the shape of her torso, and then draw the outline of her skirt. Lastly you will need to make the arm and leg lines too.

STEP 2.

Now you can start sketching out her short hair style and be sure to make a few pieces of her hair hang a bit over her forehead as shown to you here. Once that is done sketch her ear, and then draw out the actual shape of her face. Now you're ready to draw her neck and shoulders.

STEP 3.

When you are done with this step, you can already see how pretty Jill is going to look. Add some detail and definition to her hair by adding a side part, and then lightly sketch out her eyebrows, eyes, nose, and mouth. When the face comes out right, you can then darken the lining. Next draw her collar bones, and then finish sketching out her arms, top, and the beginning parts for her sweater that is tied around her waist.

STEP 4.

Add some minor detailing to her top, and then finish the sweater, and draw out her mini skirt. Lastly, sketch out both of her hands and then start drawing the handle of the gun that she is holding in her left hand. Before you go make sure that you add some design detail to her short skirt.

STEP 5.

Your last drawing step is simple. All you need to do is finish draw the hand gun and then sketch out her nicely toned legs, boots, and feet. Once that is done you can define her knees, and then draw the design style of her boots. Start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

STEP 6.

Here is what your finished sketch of Jill Valentine comes out looking like when you're done. Now, just color her in and your Resident Evil character is complete. Thank you for joining me with this tutorial, and be sure to come back again for more drawing fun!
