I hope you're all ready to surprise, and be surprised from that special person in your life. I wanted to draw something that symbolized love in a different way, and since I haven't drawn any tribal art lately, I thought that a tutorial on “how to draw a tribal rose, step by step” would be just the thing that would make all you tribal art lovers smile. The tribal flower can be drawn the way you see it here, or you can draw some vines that are surrounding the rose in a graceful manor. When it comes time to color the drawing or sketch, you can either leave it black, or you can color the bloom part of the rose red, and leave a black stem. I like the way this tribal design came out. In fact I like it so much, that it's my favorite rose drawing to date. Another great thing about this lesson is that, it's going to be incredibly easy for you to replicate. STEP 1.
Start this tutorial step like you are drawing any other flower. First draw a round shape for the bud, and then add the long line for the stem. Next draw branching lines for the leaves of the rose like you see here.
STEP 2.
Make your first shape which should look like a jagged arrow head, and then draw cup like shape inside of the opening of the first shape as you see here. The markings should be small.
STEP 3.
This is going to be a bit more easier. All you have to do is draw the three rough looking pieces that will eventually form the shape of a rose. Each piece should look like it's hugging the other.
STEP 4.
Draw the last rose tribal design and then start sketching out the shapes of the green leaves that you would normally see on a regular rose flower. Take your time, there is no rush. Patience is key to great art.
STEP 5.
Now you will start sketching out the stem of the tribal rose as you see here. There is a few thorns that need to be added to, but the small leaves need to be sketch out as well. See how nice this design is coming along. It's looking very pretty.
STEP 6.
To complete your rose, all you have to do is draw out the other side for the stem, and then draw the thorns, and leaves as well. Draw the leaves in random areas to make the drawing look more authentic instead of uniform. Erase any and all guidelines that you drew in step one that are visible to clean up your work.
STEP 7.
Here you have a beautifully drawn tribal rose that is ready for color, or you can even bring in this sketch to your local tattoo parlor to use as a stencil. This would actually make a rockin tribal rose tattoo. That's it you're done!Post a comment
