Hey guys! Good to see you all again. I will be doing some tutorials of rides from amusement parks this week. And today I am going to show you how to draw a really simple Ferris wheel. Before I did the drawing, I thought it was going to be kind of complicated, but as soon as I started drawing it, it was actually just circles and straight lines. So I’m pretty sure you guys will not have any problem on doing this drawing. Ferris wheels are named after George Washington Ferris, Who designed the very first Ferris wheel in 1893 Chicago, Illinois. It was the Columbian Exposition’s largest attraction, with the height of 264 ft. I believe that the world tallest Ferris wheel today is the Singapore Flyer in Singapore height 541 ft. It’s amazing how every country now is competing to build the tallest Ferris wheel. I don’t know about you guys, but I personally would not want to be on one of the tallest Ferris wheels. As an acrophobia, I am terrified of Ferris wheels. To me it is like a torture chamber that you are trapped in, and goes higher and higher really slowly. The idea of stuck in the sky for a long time just freaks me out. I personally think that Ferris wheels are one of the scariest rides in amusement parks. I hope you all will have a good time drawing the Ferris wheel, and please make a request if you would like to know how to draw any attractions, I will put it on my first list. I will see you all again soon!
