How to Draw Prince of Persia
Hey guys! Welcome back to my step-by-step tutorials. We’ve got a bunch of requests the past few weeks on characters from Prince Of Persia since the movie will be coming out soon. I bet a lot of people are very excited about it. If you’ve seen the trailer of the movie, you would notice that they have created the same 3D effect as the video game to get the same phenomenon. So I thought that was pretty cool. The only thing is, it kind of reminded me of the movie 300, but hopefully it will be a lot better than that. So today I am going to do the tutorial of the main character of cause - Prince Dastan. Jake Gallenhaal plays him in the movie, which fits fine I guess, I mean it is always really hard to watch your fantasy game or manga characters becomes a real live actor or actress that you don’t particularly like. Evan though Jake Gallenhaal plays a good Prince Dastan, I am still going show you how to draw the original character from the video game. This tutorial is not very hard, but because of his outfit, makes it a bit complicated to do. It might look pretty complex, but we are going to do the same as how we did with the Mecha drawing – break the outfit into two parts. And I guaranty its much more easier than Mecha. So what are you waiting for? Lets get started.

STEP 1.
First draw a circle for his head, then draw the guidelines for his body and his swords.
STEP 2.
Then draw the guidelines to mark his face, hair, and outfit.
STEP 3.
Now draw a clean outline of his entire body. You will now also draw the edges between his face and hair, outfit and his body.
STEP 4.
Because his outfit is a bit complicated, so we are going to break it into two parts to draw. First we will draw the armor and the bands on his arm. You will also draw his face, make sure to give him that nice sharp look.
STEP 5.
Now you will draw the bottom parts, this will include his belts and the kilt. Give the kilt a torn rough look.
STEP 6.
Then draw the hair lines and his muscle lines to make him look nice and strong. Don’t forget to add the swords on his hands.
STEP 7.
Last but not least, You will draw the details in his outfit, such as buttons and the belt buckles, and the designs on the swords.
STEP 8.
