There is seven blooms that are in this half dozen of roses. Draw six and a half circles, and then draw the various step line. Once that is done move to the next drawing step.

2

Now you will start lightly sketching out the shapes of each rose you see here. A good way to approach this step is to take your time, and start from the top, and work your way down to the bottom rose.

3

Continue to sketch out the roses as you see here and then add some definition and detailing to the flower buds. If you take your time, you should end up with a really beautiful sketch that will please anybody you give the finished sketch to.

4

Fill in the roses at the top by sketching the inside rose pedals and then some more of the leaves. When that is done you can add more detailing to the roses and draw in more leaves at the bottom of the bouquet.

5

Almost done guys, all you have to do now is start sketching out the roses to the left of the drawing and then draw more leaves. You want the flowers to look like a full bouquet. When that is done draw out the bundle of stems and then add a skinny rib

6

For your last drawing step all you have to do is finish sketching out the inside rose pedals for the three flowers on the left hand side of your sketch. Once that is done, start erasing all the visible guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one

Description: I was thinking about what I could draw for Valentines Day which is coming up pretty soon. Looking through both the Valentines section, and the flowers section, I came to a conclusion that I should submit a tutorial on “how to draw roses, step by step”. Since roses is the signature gift that is bought and sold by many people in America, why not sketch a nice drawing of these beautiful red flowers that signify the love and affection you feel for someone you care for. Some say giving a single rose on Valentines Day means a lot more to women then a bouquet or dozen of roses. I love the way the flowers came out, and I have to say that out of all the roses I drew and submitted on the site, these are by far my favorite. This is a perfect lesson to use if you want to give somebody something special and from the heart on V-Day. February 14th is drawing near, which means you have less then a month to do an awesome sketch of these blooms, and prepare them for delivery for that special someone in your life. The only thing you will need to buy is a nice red envelope, maybe a small box of chocolates, and that’s it. Another idea you could include with the gift is a heartfelt poem that conveys the feelings you have for that special lady, or unique guy in your life. Drawing roses is probably one of the more prettier tutorials to learn from, and to tell you the truth, I wouldn’t be surprised if I seen this tutorial in the top fifty pretty soon. I have to go gang, but don’t worry because there is still two more submissions that have to go up. Have fun with this dozen of roses, and be sure to take your time with this lesson to ensure that your sketch comes out awesome. Peace peeps, and happy Valentines Day!
