How to Draw a Goblin

1

Start this first step by drawing a few shapes and lines to form a frame for your goblin that you are about to draw. Start with the shape for the head, and then add the facial guidelines. Next sketch out the shape of the goblins torso, and then draw t

Now what you want to do is draw a goblin face by sketching out the eyes, snarling mouth, and then the crease for the brows. You will then draw the fangs for the mouth and thicken the lining for the head.

3

Sketch out the actual shape and texture of the creature that you are drawing, and then add the shape of the ears. You will then sketch out the witch like nose and then add some detail and definition to the goblins face.

You will now start sketching out the shape of the goblins body. In this case we will work more on the upper part instead of the whole body. Start by sketch out the muscular shoulders, and arms. Next draw the chest, and then give this goblin a hand ma

Finish sketching out the right arm and hand, and then draw the left hand and sword that goblins usually use for weapons. Add some detailing to the sword, and then draw out and detail the loin cloth that this goblin is covering his junk with. Lastly,

You will now start sketching out the thighs, and then draw the hanging cloth that is behind and in front of his body. Once that is done you can draw the handle of the sword, and then draw a skull hanging at the end of the goblins weapon to add some h

This is your last drawing step. Finish sketching out the legs and then draw the feet. Add detail and definition to the legs and feet, and then add an anklet on the right ankle. Add the skulls eye sockets and then a bit of detail to the skull head. Er

Description: I noticed that I didn't have any tutorials on "how to draw a goblin, step by step". How ridiculous is that? I couldn't believe my eyes when I seen that I never drew one of these mythical creatures. I know I have an orc, and a troll, but yet never a goblin. I drew out this creature almost three days ago, and I am just now getting around to uploading it. I try and switch up the types of things I draw because I know people want to see something new everyday, not just animals, chibis, and anime. A big thing that I know everyone loves is dragons, and other fantasy beings like the goblin. But have you ever wondered what is the difference between a goblin, and a troll? Sometimes I get these two “monsters” confused. I know trolls are written into stores as being ugly, small, and untrustworthy. But I never really got into detail on the background of a goblin. Before I talk a bit about this fantasy creature, I just want to say that what influenced me to draw him, is the computer game WOW or otherwise known as “World of War Craft”. Me and my sister love it so much, that we actually have favorite saying and songs that our characters dance to, and talk like. Okay let's get back to the origins of the goblin. First off these creatures are said to often be evil, and incredibly ugly to a point where they look disfigured. They also come in all different sizes from small, medium, and large. Depending on the type of story that a goblin is written into, these nasty little critters, can have a wide variety of abilities, and disadvantages. Some of my favorite goblins are in the movie “Legend”, one of Tom Cruise's first flicks. There is also goblin characters in “Lord of the Rings” but they are called “hobgoblins”. The colors of these creatures are usually written as being green or brown, and even sometimes they have big long elvish style ears. Unlike other fantasy creatures, goblins almost never wear clothes except a loin cloth and their weapons. I think the concept character that I drew came out looking really good, and I also added some of my won personal touches with it's design. I think you will find that this tutorial on “how to draw a goblin, step by step", is awesome, fun, and even a bit on the easy side. Join me again for another tutorial in just a few. In the mean time have fun with this lesson, and I will be back soon. Peace out people!
