How to Draw a Anime School Girl
Hey guys, today I am going to show you how to draw an anime school girl, step by step. I am actually really excited to do this tutorial - everyone loves a cute anime school girl! The Japanese school girl uniform was the envy of every little girl in Asia after the comic Sailor Moon came out. How can you resist the sailor collar and the mini skirt? Of course in East Asia, everyone has to wear a uniform, no matter whether you go to a private or public school. We used to hate it so much when we were kids and so we always tried to make our uniform look cuter by copying Japanese short skits and those big “elephant socks.” School girls are definitely one of the more popular icons from Japan. They appear in almost every comic and TV, and film drama you can think of. But it is funny if you look at the earlier comics. School girl uniforms are always very long - the longer it is the cuter. Sometimes you can’t even see their feet. Interesting how things change with the times. Now all of the schoolgirl uniforms we see are short and sexy. And so that is why I am going to show you how to draw a sexy, but cute anime schoolgirl step by step. You can also be more creative and give her a different hairstyle or change the color of her uniform. Just relax and have some fun! Now are you ready? Lets get started.

STEP 1.
Draw a circle for her head then draw guidelines for the arms and legs. In this drawing we can’t see her left arm, so don’t worry about drawing that guideline. You will also draw two little circles for the feet, and the shape of her skirt.
STEP 2.
Draw a rough outline of her whole body to get an idea of where her outfit goes and how her hairstyle looks like.
STEP 3.
Start to fix the outline based on the ones you just drew in step 2. Give it a clean fresh line and draw the big sailor collar on her shirt along with the tie. Now you have a basic outline of a Japanese school girl uniform. Draw the socks a bit bigger than her legs and shoes. We are giving her those cute “elephant leg” socks which Japanese school girls absolutely adore.
STEP 4.
Now comes her face. To draw an anime face, always remember the rules: big eyes with a tiny nose and mouth. In this drawing lets make her eyes a little further apart to give her a more innocent look. Don’t draw too many eye lashes because you want to give her a clean face like a schoolgirl. Then you can draw some details on her outfit such as fold lines on her skirt and socks.
STEP 5.
Finish the drawing up by filling in her hair lines. fold lines on her shirt, and patterns on her collar. You can put a pocket on the shirt or even a name tag if you want to.
STEP 6.
