Description: Well, it's now time to fill another request that was made a week ago on “how to draw Jake Sully". As some of you may know, he is a character from James Cameron's new movie that is out in theaters “AVATAR”. I have a lesson of one of the main characters already, and her name is Neytiri. Now Jake Sully is also one of the main characters from the flick, and he is also very interesting. This is how the story starts, just to give you an idea on what his purpose is throughout the film. Sully is a human that joined the Marine Corp when he was a bit older than most. When he was growing up as a kid he could remember hearing talk about a place called Pandora which was a small moon discovered in 2129. After some time, Jake eventually seals his own fate when he was injured in a war that led him to be paralyzed from the waist down. A young energetic Marine, turned into a bitter cripple, that wanted to find an escape from his problems. Eventually Jake was offered to come along with a special project called the “Avatar Program”. The only reason why they asked Jake to come along is because he was an identical match to his brother's genome. Tom Sully was his brother, and he died just before the crew was to take off and start the mission. Even though Jake had no Avatar training whatsoever, they still wanted him to participate. Once he arrived on Pandora, Jake meets up with a hardcore colonel named Miles Quaritch, and he is the one that is in charge of the colony security. Once Sully meets up with Dr. Grace Augustine, he is now ready to be transferred into his new Na'vi body. I'm not going to tell you the whole story because I don't know what exactly that is since I never even seen AVATAR yet. The information that I just gave you came from me watching trailer, after trailer. I do know that Jake Sully falls in love with Neytiri who is the Princess of the Omaticaya Clan. He is also one of the six Na'vi's that are labeled as being Toruk Makto, and one of the only twenty avatars. I want you guys to have fun with this lesson that will teach you “how to draw Jake Sully, step by step”. I have some more drawing tutorials on the way, and I think you will like them all. Peace out and happy drawing!
