Drawing Will Smith shouldn't be too hard. Start by drawing the big circle shape for his head and then add the facial guidelines, and then the shoulder line which is slightly arched or curved.

You will now start sketching out his sorta thick eyebrows, and then use the facial guidelines to draw out the eyes, and nose. Notice how he has his nostrils colored in.

Now you can start lightly sketching out the full shape of Will Smith's nose and be sure to add some shading along the left side, as well as tip of the nose. You will then draw the lip cleft, and then sketch out his eyes in more detail. Don't forget t

You are already on the fourth drawing step and as you can see you will be sketching out the shape of Will Smith's face. Once that is done you can sketch in his front hair line and then sketch out his infamous big ears. Add some detailing and definiti

For your last drawing step all you will have to do is sketch out the rest of his short hairstyle and then add some shading to his eyes as you see here. Next sketch out the shape of his neck, and then draw out his suit jacket, undershirt, collar, and

Description: I get requests to draw all sorts of actors, performers, and even musicians. Sometimes I get real excited about drawing a particular movie star that is very popular with main stream households across the globe. So I guess it's time to say who exactly I will be giving you a lesson on. I was asked to do a tutorial on “how to draw Will Smith, step by step”. Will Smith is most recognized as being part of DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince during the late eighties. Even though he had a successful musical career, he nearly lost everything due to a tax mishap. He was eventually approached by the NBC network with an idea for a show that surrounded around the life of a West Philadelphia teen named Will. He accepted and so the show was born, “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”. I guess you could say it was that NBC television series that started his career in motion. Will Smith and the series aired a total of one hundred forty eight episodes before it ended in 1996. Next came his role along side Martin Lawrence in “Bad Boys I & II, then independence Day, next came the very entertaining Men in Black, and Men in Black II. As time progressed he took on more leading roles in movies like I Robot, which was also very good, The Pursuit of Happiness, another awesome and heartfelt flick, and the more recent and unforgettable, I Am Legend. But his acting career doesn't stop there. Will Smith also gets his chance to play a superhero in Hancock. I think he was good in Handcock because he played his character very realistic. There is so many more movies that Will Smith is known for and the reason why I know almost everything he stared in, is because I have a collection of his movies. I'm not the only fan of this funny, true, and talented actor, both of my brothers think he is absolutely awesome too. Another movie favorite that he stars in is Enemy of the State, and Hitch. The picture that I used as a reference of is from his movie Seven Pounds. Even though that movie has been out for some time now, I still haven't had a chance to watch it. I chose to draw a sketch of him as this character because he looks serious and yet still like Will. Did you know that his full name is not William? It's true, many people and or fans think that Will is short for William. The truth is his full name is Willard Christopher Smith Jr. What a name huh? He was born in September in the year of 1968 which makes him forty one years old. Smith is also known for being happily married to Jada Pinkett-Smith. His son can be seen acting in the movie “The Day the Earth Stood Still” along side Jennifer Connelly, and Keanu Reeves. I always thought that Will Smith had a friendly and cheerful look making him an a cool character to watch in movies. Don't get me wrong I think every actor has their “bad movies”. For Will I think it was Wild Wild West. Anyways, I tried setting up the steps to be easily replicated and understood. I will leave you now with this tutorial on “how to draw Will Smith, step by step”. Join me soon with more drawing fun. Adios amigos, and happy drawing!
