STEP 1.
Drawing the outline of the body will be the first step when learning how to draw Spongebob step by step. For this you will need to sketch a squiggly lined rectangle that is larger at the top than at the bottom. Don't bear down to hard try to make the marks fairly light. This way if you make a mistake the line will be easier to erase.
STEP 2.
Give your drawing a little dimension by adding a few squiggly lines to the left side of the rectangle. While finding how to draw Spongebob step by step go ahead and add the bottom part of the body. When adding the bottom portion of the body use straight lines.
STEP 3.
Start adding arms and legs to your drawing. This is done by drawing triangular shapes for the shirt sleeves and adding the shorts to the bottom of the drawing. Knowing how to draw Spongebob step by step is relatively easy if you use faint markings and move slowly through the steps. Take your time here it doesn't have to be done quickly. Erase any lines inside of the shirt sleeves and shorts.
STEP 4.
Add the arms and legs. Drawing these parts is relatively easy as well. Try not to obsess too much over the hands. When first learning how to draw Spongebob step by step it's easy to obsess over the little things but not to worry the more you practice the better you will become. Go ahead and scribble those cute little shoes on him as well.
STEP 5.
Dress your little guy! Adding clothing to your creation is one of the funniest and fun parts. You can either dress him the way illustrated in this step or get completely creative here. Just have fun with it. If following the illustration it is simply accomplished by using a series of shapes and lines. Once again learning to draw Spongebob step by step should be fun so don't obsess. You will also want to draw in the face. This is the most critical part. Start by adding the eyes then on to the nose. You will then follow-up by sketching in his mouth.
STEP 6.
Give him his spongy texture! This is done by drawing a series of ovals and circles. There you have it! You have now learned how to draw Spongebob step by step!Post a comment
