How to Draw Quileute Tribe Tattoo from New Moon
New Moon hit theatres November 20th and from day one it has been a sold out show. My younger sister went to go see the movie with a group of friends, and she said that it was better than part one, and from the excitement in her voice and from the expression on her face, I believe her. I received a request from a member a few days ago and they asked if I could do a drawing tutorial on “how to draw Quileute Tribe Tattoo from New Moon”. Naturally without a doubt I added the request to my list and began working on it yesterday. Finding a clear reference picture for the tattoo was pretty hard. I definitely didn't want to reference from a distorted image because than I wouldn't have gotten the tribal design drawn right. So, having said that, I worked with what I had to the best of my ability and I hope that the tattoo is accurate. As you know Jacob Black comes from a long blood line of the Quileute Indian Tribe. In New Moon, he is still the long haired sweet Jacob when the story starts off, and when he starts hanging with Bella again. The two became close when she started spending time with Jacob as he started a project with her, fixing up two beat up dirt bikes. She provided the funds, and he provided his mechanical expertise and some riding lessons. I know that Jacob was explaining to Bella that Sam Uley was the leader of a group, and how he wanted Jacob to one day become a part of that group. Of course what he was really talking about was how Sam Uley is the Alpha of the Quilet wolf pack. That is until Jacob is ready to be the rightful leader of the wolf pack, but unfortunately right now, he is not ready yet. The tattoo that Jacob wears on his shoulder is a symbol of the Quileute pack. This design is pretty cool, and I had fun sketching or drawing it out. I think you guys will like this lesson, and not only because it is from New Moon, but because it is on Jacob's shoulder XD. I have to go, but I will be back. STEP 1.
Drawing the New Moon tattoo should be easy for you guys because you are not drawing by eye, instead you are getting a step by step tutorial. Start with a large circle and then draw the guidelines in the middle as you see here.
STEP 2.
Starting with the sides you will start sketching out the shapes of the semi-arched designs that will start this tribal tattoo. Once all three shapes are drawn out and colored in you will add two circle shapes directly in the middle and then make them look like rinded designs. You will then draw out the triangular shape for what is supposed to be a wolf's nose, and then color it in as well.
STEP 3.
Now you will start sketching out the complex looking design shapes of this Quileute tribal tattoo.The image is supposed to look like a wolfs face so that is what you will initially sketch out in the end. Continue to draw the shape of the design starting with the ears, shape of the face, and then the sides of the tribal wolfs neck. Add more spots and then color in what you have just drawn.
STEP 4.
You will basically finish off the tribal design as you see here and be sure to take your time folks because this is a New Moon symbol after all. Once the shapes, arcs, and swirls are drawn, color it in and then move to the next step.
STEP 5.
For your last drawing step you will draw a thick border around the Quileute tattoo design and then color it in. Try and erase the guidelines you drew in step one to the best of your ability. When complete move to the finished line art step to check out what your Quileute tattoo should look like.
STEP 6.

Is he like, leader of one of the groups; or is he like considered a legend to the Kitsunes, because he's the strongest, but is shocked when they see him appear?
