How to Draw Halo
Here is another great drawing tutorial for all you Halo fanatics out there. I will give you a detailed lesson on "how to draw Halo step by step". Halo is a video game series that is published and owned by Microsoft Game Studios. Even though Microsoft is the owner of the game, they did not create it. Instead a company named "Bungie" are the developers of Halo as well as other awesome games. Halo is also wrote out or created to have a sci-fi based story line and for the first time in a while, it's actually pretty cool. Unfortunately you can only play Halo if you have an X-Box, or X-Box 360 game console. You can go the other route, and buy the game for your computer as well, and it doesn't matter if you have a Mac or Windows operating system. The story of Halo follows a character named Master Chief who happens to be a solider that has been scientifically enhanced to become more of a super solider if anything else. He wears military green colored armor through out his whole body with the helmet glass being of a shiny gold color. Master Chief is also accompanied by a holographic character named "Cortana". Much like any other character based games, Cortana pops up every now and then giving the player or Master Chief, much needed tactical information, and updates on what you need to do next. She is also responsible for stopping the activation of Halo installations. If the installations became activated, all sentient life would be destroyed. Halo is not just the name of the game series, its an actual name for all the superweapons and megastructures that are a part of the story line. The video game has a deep, detailed story, and playing Master Chief is really exciting. I know I already have a lesson on Master Chief, but I thought that I would sketch out another form of him since Halo 3 came out a while back. I hope you like this lesson on "how to draw Halo", it took me almost forever to get him drawn right. I referenced a picture I found in my brothers old Gamers magazine which is why he is cut off at the knees. I was going to draw a full bodied image of Master Chief, but honestly I didn't have enough energy to do that at the time of sketching him out. I will get one up in the future though, or I will just update this drawing of him by giving him some legs. Well anyway, have fun drawing Halo, I will meet you all back here soon. STEP 1.
This is going to be a bit complex so, if you want to get this Halo character drawn right, you might want to take your time. Start with a circle for his head and then add the facial guidelines. You will then start drawing the guidelines to form his left arm, torso, hips or pelvic area, and then his legs. When that is done draw out the outlined shape of his gun.
STEP 2.
You will focus on sketching out the shape and design of Master Chief's helmet which is also one of the characters main recognisable traits. His helmet is very detailed and, drawing out all the definition to the shape, style, and design of the helmet may take a while. Take your time and you will successfully get it right.
STEP 3.
Now you will start sketching out the actual shape of his left arm and shoulder, as well as the back of his gun. Start sketching the body armor very slowly, starting with the shoulder. When his shoulder is done you will draw the upper arm, and be sure to draw the lining accurately to show all the detailing of his suit. His armor is very cyborg-ish which is pretty cool.
STEP 4.
Continue to sketch out the rest of his arm and hand on the left and then begin sketching out the design of Master Chief's gun as you see here. Master Chief uses the BR55 Battle Rifle I believe as his weapon of choice, but there are also some other weapons in Halo that he uses as well. Once the riffle is drawn out completely, you can begin drawing the right arm and hand. Next draw the top half or torso part of his body armor as you see here paying close attention to the detailing and definition.
STEP 5.
You are almost done with this tutorial on "how to draw Halo". Continue to draw the armor plated suit that Master Chief wears at the waist, as well as the crotch or pelvic area. Once that is done, you can begin drawing out the shape, design, and style of the legs and it's armor. Add some detailing to the gun, as well as Master Chief's left hand.
STEP 6.
All you have to do in this last drawing step is finish drawing the legs and the armor as you see it done here. Erase any visible guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one to the best of your ability to clean up your drawing. Move to the last step to see how your Halo character should have come out looking like.
STEP 7.
At the end of the tutorial "how to draw Halo", your character should look like the one you see here. Of course it takes a lot of work to get him drawn right, but with practice and a lot of patience, it can most definitely be done. Great job guys, keep up the good work!Comments: Post Comment
is it?? or are you just messing with people again? one minute your all "oh i love shawn i dont wanna lose him, he means everything to me" and then the next minute your all "oh i love brandon i dont wanna lose him, he means everything to me" wow bry, u drag everyone into every single issue you have, and i dont even believe for ONE moment about your pathetic exuse about "Sabrina"... ur pathetic, i helped you out with everything and you spit it back in my face, you wanted my help so badly, i stuck for you with EVERYTHING! now im usually the type of guy who doesnt yell every single day, but i think i speak for anyone by saying you drive everyone mad with y, dramatic display, so do us all a favour and pick, shawn or brandon?? who was it u liked in the first place huh?! ur like a toddler who wants to have everything they cant have...ur pathetic, used to be a good friend...but pathetic, and at the end of the day u always seem to make susan look like the , the one always causing the problems. but eh, im through with this, its seriously screwed up, have fun lying to get what u want, or whatever it is you do in your spare time, and i thought we were friends too, hmm that sounded corny as :/
