This should be an awesome lesson to learn from as well as easy. Start with a circle for the head and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw the outlined shape of the bass's body and then draw the triangular shape of the tail fin.

2

Now that you have the frame drawn out you can start sketching out the shape of the bass's large mouth as you see here. Once that is done you can then begin the lining for the body and or head as you see here.

Finish sketching out the lining for the body and then begin sketching out the tail fin as well as the dorsal fin. The dorsal fin has pointed tips so make sure you draw them looking like frills. Add the detailing lines to give the body and fins some t

This is your last drawing step and all you have to do now is sketch out the pelvic fins and then the other pectoral fin as you see here. Add a definition line to the body of the bass and then begin erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew

Description: I thought it was time to do another drawing on a freshwater fish since I haven't drawn any kind of water animal lately. Before I start the lesson, I want to tell yo where my inspiration came from. Fishing is something that I can remember being apart of as a kid. I used to go fishing with my parents, but never actually fished. Now the few times I did actually go fishing, our main goal was to catch either a blue, or a bass. My father naturally caught blues like they were candy right from the shore. Me however, caught nothing but eels, no word of a lie. This tutorial is dedicated to the times I went fishing as a kid and had so much fun. I will show you "how to draw a bass step by step". The bass in the tutorial is a largemouth bass as you can tell by the size of it's mouth. Common names for these fish is; bigmouth bass, black bass, green bass, and so on and so forth. An interesting fact about these tasty fish is the mouth. The upper jaw of the largemouth bass goes past its eye, which makes this fish one of the easiest to identify. The back of the bass is usually a dark green color, and the sides of the fishes body get lighter the lower down to the belly. Right in the middle of the fish's body has a dark pulse looking horizontal line that stretches across the entire body. These fish have very unusual diets, younger largemouth bass eat copepods, waterfleas, insect larvae, and even plankton. Adult largemouth bass eat bigger prey such as other fish, crabs, mice, frogs, and even dead birds that fall in the waters. Bass can be found almost everywhere in the United States except of course for Alaska. They can also be found in Canada and even Mexico too. All in all these fish are not only awesome because of the incredible fight they give you, the largemouth bass is also a very good tasting fish as well. I will now leave you to this lesson that shows you "how to draw a bass". Have fun with this tutorial, and I will be back real soon. Adios amigos.
