How to Draw Lady Gaga
Hello everybody! I am back with another tutorial for you all, and I will start by submitting a lesson “how to draw Lady Gaga step by step”. The reason why I chose to sketch Lady Gaga is because I have been listening to her music a lot nowadays, and I have really been digging her stuff. Lady Gaga is a performer that is in her own league. Her real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta. I know what your thinking, "that is a wicked long name", and your right it is. That is probably why she goes by the stage name "Lady Gaga". She was born on March 28, 1986 which makes her only twenty four years old. When she was only nineteen years old she had already signed and dropped from Def Jam records to become a rock music performer on the lower east side of New York. After some time as a rock music performer, she began working with Interscope Records writing songs for varies well known artists. It was Akon who mentioned that she should be signed on the label after hearing her sing. In 2008 she released her first debut album called “The Fame” which includes popular songs like “Just Dance” and "Poker Face”. I have to say Lady Gaga's music is different from what I am used to hearing nowadays. It is said that her musical style is a cross between David Bowie, Queen, Madonna, and Michael Jackson. I can totally see why critics and reviewers would say that because it is totally true. Where did this unique performer come from anyway? Well, she was born and raised in Yonkers to an all Italian American family. Her fathers name is Joseph and her mothers name is Cynthia. Her parents had already planed on sending her to Julliard School, but she later went to a private Catholic school. Even though Lady Gaga may not look too bright in her videos, she is actually a child prodigy. She started playing the piano at the age of four which she learned totally by ear. By the time she was thirteen, she had already wrote her first piano ballad and then started performing at open mic nights by the time she was fourteen. When Gaga was only seventeen years old, she was already attending Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. It was there that she studied and learned how to compose music, and wrote analytical papers on art, religion, and other subjects. I guess you can say that this chick had us all fooled. I knew that she was different from the moment I started listening to her music. I think that Lady Gaga is a very talented performer, and just knowing that she is a prodigy makes me like her even more. I think you will like this lesson that will show a very easy and neat way to learn “ how to draw Lady Gaga step by step”. I have to go because I have a lot more work to do. STEP 1.
To draw Lady Gaga start with a circle shape for her head and then add the facial guidelines the way you see them here.
STEP 2.
Now you will start sketching out the shapes of her eyes like you see here and then add her long eyelashes. Once that is done, you can sketch out her nose, and then her top lip line.
STEP 3.
As you know Lady Gaga has a thick set of bangs. You will start sketching out the bangs that hang past her eyebrows. Be sure to lightly sketch out the bangs to get a fuller look to the hair style. You will then finish sketching out her eyes which includes the eye shape, eyeballs, and then color in the pupils. Sketch out Lady Gaga's face, and then sketch the shape of her ears and the rest of her mouth.
STEP 4.
Okay, start sketching in her teeth, and then detail inside of her ears. You will then draw the lightning bolt on her left cheek, and then sketch in more of her long thick hair style. Once this is done you can move to the next step.
STEP 5.
For your last drawing step you will add some shading to Lady Gaga's face like under her hair, on her ears, the tip of her nose, and on her lips. Detail and define her hair style so that it looks real, thick, and soft. Erase all the visible guidelines that you drew in step one top clean up your drawing.
STEP 6.
