1

Start out with two blobs, one inside the other. In the inner blob, make a head shape for your puppy.

2

Now what you should do is add facial guidelines, then make the paws, and adjust the outer blob to create the tail.

3

Now you can add features like the eyes and snout to the dog's head. Then add the back leg and put in a shoulder bump.

4

Now, draw a little eyebrow above each eye and draw the ears. Now you can start erasing some of the unnecessary guidelines.

5

Now you can finish erasing the guidelines and shade in some parts of your dog. You may also want to shade around the snout and the eye. After you finish fixing whatever you feel needs it, you can color it or just keep it the way it is. Hope you enjoy

Description: Dogs in a curled up pose can prove to be quite difficult for many artists to draw. That's why I made this tutorial; to be able to draw something fairly hard in a fairly easy way. Also, because this is Microsoft Paint I'm working with, it should look a bit better on paper. Have fun!!!
