How to Draw a Woman
Hey guys I’m back today with another tutorial submission on a human figure. I was supposed to submit this lesson yesterday but again, I forgot all about it. I want to show you “how to draw a woman", step by step. I already have a few lessons that I submitted earlier this month and last month that taught you "how to draw a woman’s body", and "how to draw a woman’s face". I wanted this female character to be sitting in a popular position that is commonly seen when looking at female portrait art. The drawing itself was a bit complicated because I had to make her body look normal and symmetrical. I drew this woman live and I had a fun time with you guys when I did. Drawing people, and other human figures is kind of addicting. The more bodies I draw, the more I want to keep drawing pretty woman and attractive men. I am working really hard to improve my drawing skills when it comes to drawing people in a visually stimulating way. I think I am pretty good at drawing anime/manga people, now I have to get good at drawing human beings better. The road is long, but I know I will eventually get there. I really like the way this female figure came out. She is sitting on her side with her legs behind her, and she is also posing nude. The reason why I draw nude people is because I would rather have my fellow artists draw the type of clothes you would like to see these characters in whether it be a manga, anime, or human form. I still have more manga drawing that I will be submitting over the coarse of a few days. I promise there is other cool lessons on the way as well. For now you can tackle this tutorial that shows you “how to draw a woman”. I will be back again, so be patient, and have fun drawing!

STEP 1.
To start let's draw a circle for the woman's head and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw a neck line and attach it to the body's line of motion. This is the neck line connecting to vertical torso line. Draw the shoulder, arm, and leg guidelines as well.
STEP 2.
Okay you will now sketch out the front hair line for her combed back hair style. Once that is done you can start drawing woman eyes, and then draw the shape of the womans face. Sketch in the ear and then draw the neck line shape.
STEP 3.
Now draw the shape of the woman's hair style which is in a bun. finish drawing the shape of her head and then finish sketching the womans face which includes the eyeballs and pupils, eyebrows, nose, and mouth. You will then draw the shoulders and right arm. Sketch in the collar bones and then draw her breast.
STEP 4.
Continue to draw out the woman arms and then the shape of her figure. I wanted her to be voluptuous so her waist is nice and curvy.When her torso is drawn out you can draw her left thigh line and detail her belly with a navel hole.
STEP 5.
This is your last drawing step and all you have to do is draw out the right thigh and or leg as well as the shape of her backside. Finish her arm and then draw her hand and fingers. Learning how to draw a womans hand is simple to do. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.
STEP 6.
When you are done with this lesson on "how to draw a woman step by step", you will end up with a drawing that looks like the one here. Color her in and cloth her if you like.Comments: Post Comment
