How to Draw Manga Bodies
If you look to the top fifty you will see that the first two top looked at lessons are on anime body figures for both genders. I will be submitting another lesson that is similar to the ones you see to the right hand side of your screen. I think that the poses I drew a while ago are great, but in all honesty I can draw better than before since I practice everyday. I want to give you a tutorial lesson on “how to draw manga bodies step by step”. Whenever you learn "how to draw manga art", you can use all different types of body poses that can actually show what your character is thinking. You can combine this lesson with the anime male body figures that I already have submitted, and draw a manga couple if you want to as well. No matter how you look at it, drawing anime and manga is so much fun and it can also become pretty addicting. The figures that you will learn how to draw are more on the slender side which is exactly how manga should be drawn. Unless of course you are going for a more thicker character or something like that. I will also be submitting two more lessons on body figures and I think that those tutorials will come in extremely helpful for a lot of you artists out there that are trying to master the art of drawing bodies. STEP 1.
There is three different body positions that you will be drawing today. You can choose to draw all three, or you can pick one out of the bunch. Start with three circle shapes for your manga bodies that you will be drawing and add the facial guidelines. Next draw the torso shapes for all poses you see here. Once that is done you will then draw a connecting line that comes from the torso, to the hips or pelvic area that you will draw next. Lastly draw all the limb guidelines as well as the shapes for the hands and feet.
STEP 2.
Start sketching out the shapes of the manga models as you see here and then sketch in their eyes and bangs for their hair styles.
STEP 3.
You will pretty much finish off the hair styles of your manga body models and then draw in the eyeballs and pupils for each character you see here. Sketch out the ears and mouths on the models as well.
STEP 4.
Now you will start sketching out the torso shapes of your manga bodies starting with the shoulders and arms. Once that is done you can draw the shapes of the breasts as you see here and add some neck definition by sketching in their collar bone lines.
STEP 5.
You are almost done with this lesson and so far I think you are doing great. Continue to sketch out the torso's by drawing the shape of the manga bodies waist and hips. Once that is done draw more shape to the arms and add some definition to the belly by adding a navel hole.
STEP 6.
Finish off the arms and hands and then start sketching out the manga bodies thighs and or upper part of the leg. As you can see by the drawing here, these ladies have long slender legs.
STEP 7.
Now for your final drawing step you will finish drawing the legs and then draw the feet including toes and all. Erase all the visible guidelines that you drew in step one to clean up your drawing so it looks nice and neat.
STEP 8.
When you are done you will end up with three manga girls that are ready and willing for you to dress them and use them in your next manga comic. I hope you had fun, and i hope you learned something new with this tutorial that showed you "how to draw manga bodies step by step".Comments: Post Comment

ohhhhh!!!! my little sister is on this site and she's nine, and what the are you gonna do about it? if people want to draw let them draw ! you dont have to be 13 to ski a blue [] or ride a bike, so why would you have to be 13 to express your love art on this site without adult supervision?

the ones that think their so high and mighty jus cuz dar older than everyone eals? whatever. my long-winded point is stop makeing kids under 13 feel bad cuz dar mambers on this sight!!!
