How to Draw Dragon Head
I’m sure there are some of you that was with me yesterday while I drew the dragon head live. I am happy to say that I will be submitting that very drawing as a tutorial so that everyone can learn “how to draw dragon head step by step”. I colored in the beast green, and made the background like a fiery red shade because green and red unusually go together for some odd reason. Anyways, this was really fun to draw and I had an awesome time drawing this fantasy creatures head live. I could draw dragons all day long without a doubt. There is so many different versions, creations, and positions that you can draw a dragon in. You can just draw the head and some of the body, or you can draw a dragon with a fully drawn body. You can choose the shades that you want to color your dragon in with. And you can also choose to draw dragon scales on the head as well. If you want, you can also sketch out a nice body for your dragon head too. No matter what you choose to do, I’m sure it will be great. I have to get going once again because I have some work to do. STEP 1.
Start this tutorial by drawing a circle for the main part of your dragon face. Next add the facial guidelines, and draw the rounded shape for the dragon's snout. Add the guidelines for the long neck and horns.
STEP 2.
You will start using the facial guidelines to sketch out the beginning steps of the dragon eye. Sketch out the nostril and draw the mouth line as you see here. You will notice that the lining for the mouth is uneven and pointed. Sketch in some detailing across the bridge of the snout, and then around the eyes.
STEP 3.
You will now start sketching out the shape of the dragon's snout which includes the mouth, and chin. The chin has three bold spikes that are very sharp. Draw a smaller horn on the bridge of the nose and then sketch in some definition and detail for the forehead and on the side of the mouth.
STEP 4.
You are almost done with this tutorial on how to draw dragon head step by step. What you will be doing here in this fourth step is drawing out the long head horns and then the ears. Add some definition and detail to the head and ears.
STEP 5.
For your last drawing step you will need to sketch out the shape of the dragons neck as you see here, and make sure it is really strong looking. Detail and define the dragons neck, and then draw the last remaining frill. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.
STEP 6.
