How to Draw Lugia, Step by Step, Pokemon Characters, Anime, Draw Japanese Anime, Draw Manga, FREE Online Drawing Tutorial, Added by xXMedicGirlXx, September 18, 2009, 7:36:33 am

Draw out the basic spine guidelines for the body as shown. They look like a bunch of messy disconnected lines, but they will soon look like Lugia! These lines will be in blue the entire time so they are easier to see.

STEP 2.

Draw in the curved head and neck and begin to shape the neck going downwards. Then add in a small beginning piece of the arms/wings on either side.

STEP 3.

Shape in the wings. Notice how they are shaped like rounded square fingers. Yes- there are a total of five fingers to make up each wing.

STEP 4.

Draw in the two legs, which are bent and have three toes each, and then just sketch in a few small rounded rectangles for the design down Lugias back.

STEP 5.

Add the curved "W" shape on the stomach and then add the tail. At the end of the tail, there should be two rounded triangles. Don't forget to draw them!

STEP 6.

Erase all of the blue guidelines. DO NOT erase the guidelines that shape into the back or the head. Erase all the rest and this is what you should be left with.

STEP 7.

The very last step is to draw the eye. It's basically a half-oval on the bottom of the diamond and then another two small circles inside of that.

STEP 8.

This is what your final drawing should look like! And now you know how to draw Lugia! Don't forget to rate and leave a comment- thank you! ^_^
