Here is a character that is well loved but pretty much overlooked. The animated cartoon series “Spongebob Squarepants” is filled with a bunch of memorable characters that makes the show what it is today. Even though there is five main characters, the secondary characters are just as important as Spongebob, Patrick, Squidward, Mr. Krabs, and Sandy. In this tutorial you will be getting a lesson on a secondary character that is both funny and serious. I am going to teach you “how to draw Larry the Lobster step by step”. Larry is a real character. He is a muscular lobster that has plenty of meat in his shells. His full name is Larry T. Lobster and if you watch the show you already know that he is the dedicated lifeguard of Bikini Bottom’s only beach, Goo Lagoon. The episode “SpongeGuard on Duty” is probably one of my favorite episodes because that is when Spongebob tells Larry that he is a lifeguard. Of course Larry only asked Spongebob if he was a lifeguard because he had white ice cream on his long yellow nose. Instead of Spongebob saying “no”, he replied yes. In the end Larry figured out that his square spongy friend was not a lifeguard at all. Larry is a cool character and I have always liked his personality and his charm. Sometimes he seems like he is not all there, but in reality he is just a beach dwelling dude with need to pump up and watch over the swimming sea critters of Bikini Bottom. I think you guys will like this lesson on “how to draw Larry the Lobster step by step. I have to go now but I will be back in a while. Have fun and happy drawing!
