How to Draw Scrat, Ice Age
How many of you remember the movie Ice Age? Well if you’re a fan of the movie and all the characters in it, you already know that there is a new flick out and it is in theaters now. It is called Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs and I can’t wait to see it when it is released on Blu-Ray. I will only go to a theater to see a movie if the special effects are going to be good, or if its a movie like Twilight or New Moon. The reason why I asked you about Ice Age is because I will be submitting a character that is seen in the very beginning of every movie. He is a very persistent squirrel that is always after that one acorn. So without further ado I will be showing you “how to draw Scrat from Ice Age step by step”. Scrat is a saber-toothed squirrel that starts off every Ice Age movie. He is seen trying to catch one acorn that seems to get away from him more times then once. At the end of every flick he eventually gets a hold of the acorn but when he does it some how gets away from him again. There is really nothing you can say about this animated character because he is only really used to start the movie off to a start so that you can chuckle a bit before the real stars hit the screen. I will leave you to this tutorial on “how to draw Scrat from Ice Age step by step”. Just follow the instructions and you will be on your way to drawing one of the funniest characters that is a part of the movie. Peace out guys and happy drawing.

STEP 1.
Start with a circle for the head and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw another circle shape for the body and then draw the shape of the oversized tail as you see here. Add the leg and foot guideline before you go.
STEP 2.
Start sketching out the nose and or snout of the saber-toothed squirrel as you see here and then draw the nose tip. You will start drawing out the shape of the eyes and then shape in part of the mouth as seen here. Draw the front teeth and then draw the ears.
STEP 3.
Start sketching out the shape of the body and then draw out the arm and hand. Next sketch out the thigh of of Scrat's leg and then move to the next step.
STEP 4.
For your last drawing step you will draw out the shape of the eyes and then draw the rest of the acorn that he is gripping onto for dear life. Sketch out the foot and then sketch out the very puffy tail. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.
STEP 5.
