Steps: 5Updated: July 13, 2010P.O.V: 3/4Favourited: 7 timesI know what you are all going to say “another cartoon animal?” I’m sorry but, I have to fill request and ever since I uploaded those few cartoon animal lessons, I have been getting request left and right for different ones. I want to forewarn you guys that I will be uploading a few cartoon animals today. The fist out of the lessons is going to be on “how to draw a cartoon sheep”, step by step. This sheep came out looking so incredibly cute and I am very happy that I chose to fill this request when I did. It is going to be very simple to do yourself if you follow the directions the way I lay them out for you. The face of the cartoon sheep has those anime style eyes and I love the way they look when joined with a regular style of the drawing. Both kids and adults will have fun with this lesson because it’s easy, colorful, and cute. I mean, who doesn’t like drawing cute, colorful, and easy drawings nowadays? I will be back later with some more cartoon animal tutorials. In the mean time tackle this one on for size and see if you can complete this lesson on “how to draw a cartoon sheep", step by step. STEP 1.
There is only four drawing steps and one line art step. The first thing you are going to do is draw three shapes, one for the top of the sheep's head, one for the cartoon sheep's face, and one for the sheep's body. When that is done you can then add the facial guidelines, and the limbe guidelines as well.
STEP 2.
You will start this step by drawing out the top of the cartoon sheep's head. When doing this you have to make the wool look curly and puffy. Next draw out the shape of the long face which is sort of squared at the end, and then draw in the eyes as well as shading them in too.
STEP 3.
Draw the curly looking hanging ears, and then draw the big puff ball of a body. When that is done you can then add the lining for the nose and mouth. See how easy this lesson is?
STEP 4.
Last step. Draw all four legs and cap off the hooves. The legs are just boxy in shape but rounded at the hoof. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up your drawing a bit.
STEP 5.
When you are done your sheep should come out looking like the one you see here. See how easy that was? Now the fun really begins because it is time to color in your work. I hope you guys enjoyed this lesson on "how to draw a cartoon sheep step by step".Post a comment
