How to Draw a Cartoon Horse
I hope you are all enjoying the cartoon zebra that I have submitted for you all as well as the rest of the lessons that I put up today. Like I said in the past, all the tutorials that I am putting up are requests from members so you have to tolerate the lessons until you see yours. I mean at least the tutorials are cool and colorful right? Anyway, for my ninth tutorial I will be showing you “how to draw a cartoon horse”, step by step. The horse, like the zebra and donkey came out very neat and colorful. I love the way they look rounded and chibi like even though they are full grown animals. After all the word chibi means little and or small. So that means you can say that the animals that I have been submitting are chibi-ish. Still, they look good and they are all very easy to follow and understand. I guess you could say that these easy learn how to draw tutorials, make drawing and coloring some of your favorite characters, animals, and objects the funnest part about finishing a lesson. You can color your horse brown, black, white, tan, or color it like an appaloosa horse, it’s your choice. I will be back with a tenth tutorial in a bit so stay tuned in for more drawing fun.

STEP 1.
Draw a circle for the head and then add the facial guidelines. Next draw a neck line and then a circle for his body. Lastly you will need to draw three horse legs.
STEP 2.
You will start drawing out the shape of the head and face of the horse which includes the muzzle and mouth. Sketch out some pieces of the mane and then move to the next step.
STEP 3.
Draw the back of the head and then the back of the neck. Next draw out the shapes of the cartoon horses legs as you see here and then move to the next step.
STEP 4.
The cartoon horse is a lot like the zebra and donkey when drawn out. You will now sketch out the mane and then draw the ears as you see here. Sketch out the tail and then finish off the shaping of the legs and hooves.
STEP 5.
For you last drawing step all you have to do is draw out the eyes and then the eyebrows. Color in the pupils and add the nostril holes. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.
STEP 6.
When you are done your horse should come out looking like the one you see here. All you need to do now is color it in. I hope you had fun learning "how to draw a cartoon horse step by step".Post a comment
