Fairies are beautiful little creatures from myth and tales that everyone loves to draw. Creating your own fairy character is probably one of the funniest things to do. I had a ton of fun drawing out this next tutorial lesson because she came out looking so beautiful and innocent. I will show you how to teach yourself to learn "how to draw a cartoon fairy" step by step. I used a lot of simple colors because this is one fairy that your gonna want to color in using what you have on hand. You can also blend colors together to get different cool shades that can’t be used from a crayon, marker or colored pencil. Experimenting with colors is a good way to stay creative and expand your mental image on art. Anyway, there is really nothing more to say about this tutorial except have fun learning “how to draw a cartoon fairy” step by step. I will be back soon with plenty more tutorials for you all. STEP 1.
First things first, draw a circle shape for her head and then draw out the body's line of motion to form a frame that your cartoon fairy will be in.
STEP 2.
You will now draw the shape of her eyes and include some nice thick eyelashes. When that is done you will draw the shape of her face and then draw her nose.
STEP 3.
Start sketching out her long wavy locks and when that is done be sure to detail her hair as well. Draw out her eyeballs and color in the pupils. Add a smile line and then move to step four.
STEP 4.
Start sketching out her shoulders, right arm, and her hand. Once that is done you can start sketching out the top which is her shirt. Finish her hair and then move to step five.
STEP 5.
Finish drawing out her breast and then start sketching out her legs and the wrap on her lower portion of the body. Be sure to wrinkle up the clothing to make it look loose and comfy.
STEP 6.
Here is where you will finish her legs and feet and then draw her wings. Sketch out the rest of the blanket like sash over her thighs and then move to the last drawing step to finish off your cartoon fairy.
STEP 7.
All you need to do here is add some detailing to her top and then draw out the rest of her wing. Detail her cloth and then start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.
STEP 8.
When you are done your fairy should look like the one you see here. Color her in and you have just learned "how to draw a cartoon fairy" step by step.1 Page Result
