It's been a while since I've done a tutorial and I have never done a tutorial on a person, so I decided to give a try. I'm not one for colored drawings, so I did it in just pencil. And I'm sorry if it's hard to see the details. But, this is one of many anime people that I enjoy drawing and I thought that since there were so many tutorials on various Pokemon on this site, it would be nice to see an actual Pokemon trainer for once. This is the heroine of the most recent Pokemon games set in the Sinnoh region. She appears in Pokemon Pearl, Diamond and Platinum. She has no name- you choose a name for her yourself in the game. In the anime show on television, her name is Dawn and she is from Twinleaf Town. Dawn is known as being about 11 years old, she has dark blue hair and blue eyes. STEP 1.
Sketch out the basic form of her body using light and smooth lines. Her head should be slightly bigger than the top part of her chest. On the head, sketch out two parallel guidelines for use later and sketch a line down the center of her body that eventually runs into her left leg. Make sure you have it perfect to your liking before moving on to the next step.
STEP 2.
Sketch out her hat right above the parallel lines you drew earlier. On both sides of her face, draw small ovals and begin to draw in her hair. Begin to darken in the lines for her clothing, arms and thighs and finish the simple dress as shown.
STEP 3.
Draw in the details on her hands to show the fingers. Make sure that they vary in length so they look realistic. Finish up her hair at the top and draw a long line out to the left for her scarf. Around her neck, draw a cylinder shape to represent the scarf. On the bottom of the dress, add zig-zag lines and across the bottom of the dress, draw small rounded squares for the design. Finish filling in the legs up to the knees and erase the guidelines for the upper body. Do NOT erase the guidelines on the face or legs. When you are satisfied, move on to step 4.
STEP 4.
Now start to add in the details. Add the Pokeball design on her hat and then move on to the boots. Using the guidelines, draw in the boots and the details on them as well. On the face, draw in the eyes, nose and mouth using the guidelines. We're almost done!
STEP 5.
Erase the guidelines on the face and the legs and darken in the rest of the sketch. And then you are finally done! I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and don't forget to rate and comment before you leave! Thank you! ^_^Comments: Post Comment
