Okay as you can see this is going to be a very simple lesson to learn from. All you have to do is draw two slightly arched vertical lines for the two biggest tress that are in the forest. Next draw a horizontal line for the earth and then a few guide

2

You will now sketch out all the trees that fill this forest scenery. Once that is done make sure you sketch out the shapes of the leaves that are growing out of the tree to the right.

3

All you have to do in this step is sketch out more oversized leaves as you see here to the right. Be sure to detail and define these leaves as well.

4

Sketch out some nice grass tips for a serene forest setting, and then you can move to the next step. Note: the grass is not all one length and neither are the tree lines.

5

Here you will start sketching in the detailing lines that make up the tree trunk as you see here. Once that is complete you can move to the next step.

6

Now that all the detailing is done you can proceed onto sketching out the mushrooms that are attached to the tree stumps. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one and then move to the last line art page.

7

This is what your forest scene should look like when you are done. Color it in and you have just finished this tutorial on "how to draw a forest" step by step.

Description: How about another tutorial on a remote location that is well known to all, and visited by many. I already did a tutorial on a jungle, so now I will show you “how to draw a forest”, step by step. The forest is a very mystical place because many of the mythological creatures live there as well as many beautiful animals. One of my favorite animals that dwell in the forest is the wolf and others like foxes, owls, deers, bears, moose, and many, many more. The forest that I drew is very simple and I know for a fact that it will be an easy lesson for you all to learn from. A forest can contain many things, but to me when I visually think of a forest, I think of big oak and birch trees, mushrooms scattered around the earth, dirt and grassy areas, bugs, animals, and even some rocks or boulders. I really did have a lot of fun with this sketch, I wanted this forest to look similar to the one seen in the movie “Snow White and the Seven Dwarves”. I think that I succeeded in some way, shape, or form. I will now leave you to this lesson because I know you can’t wait to learn “how to draw a forest", step by step. I shall be back with more so keep an eye out for more fun to draw tutorials on the way. Peace out and happy drawing.
