For my first lesson I will be showing you “how to draw a cartoon person", step by step. The figure you will be learning is of a really pretty girl. I didn’t want to sketch out a typical looking girl standing up facing forward holding a flower or some other stupid typical object. Instead, I will show you "how to draw a cartoon girl" posing in a really cute kneeling position looking pretty. I think that this drawing is one of my favorites out of all the cartoon people I have ever drawn to date. I’m not talking about anime/manga characters, I’m just talking about people in general. I gave this chick nice blond hair that is shoulder length. She also has a pretty green bow holding up one side of her hairdo and then a really cute outfit. Her feet are bare to represent the summer months and a really friendly background. I think you will find this lesson absolutely adorable from head to toe. STEP 1.
To start drawing out your carton girl draw a head shape and then add the facial guidelines. Next draw out the entire body line of position as you see here which is from the side so all you are doing is drawing an arched back, legs and arms.
STEP 2.
You will now start sketching out the shape of the cartoon girls face as you see here. Next draw out the eye lines using the facial guidelines you drew in the previous step. Lastly draw the shape of her cute cartoon nose.
STEP 3.
Now all you have to do in this step is sketch out the pretty hairdo of this awesome looking cartoon girl. Once her hair style is drawn out you can then draw the bow or barrette which ever you like, and then finish drawing out the eyes and pupils. Draw the mouth line and then move to the next step.
STEP 4.
Okay now start sketching in the details on her hairdo and then color in her pupils. Sketch out the cartoon eyebrows and then color in the inside of her mouth. Sketch the lining of her back and make sure you wrinkle it up as well.
STEP 5.
Wow look how pretty your cartoon girl looks. All i want you to do now is draw out the shape of the cartoon girls arms and then finish her torso shirt and all. You will then sketch out the legs and feet as well as the toes. Also before you leave this step you have to draw some holes in the cartoon belt.
STEP 6.
This is your last drawing step and all you have to do now is draw out the rest of her cartoon looking pants and the outer foot. Add some seam lines and then start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.
STEP 7.
Here is how your cartoon girl should look when you are done. Color her in and then you have finished this tutorial on "how to draw a cartoon figure" step by step.Post a comment
