How to Draw a Cartoon Werewolf
Remember when I said that I drew a werewolf yesterday that was supposed to be apart of my chibi monster series? Well here it is, the lesson that I was talking about “how to draw a cartoon werewolf" step by step. Like I said before, the werewolf was supposed to come out looking like a chibi version, but unfortunately, this is what I ended up with. I’m not complaining because it still looks cool, I will just put the word “cartoon” in front of it because that is what it came out looking like, a cartoon werewolf. He came out looking like one of those werewolves from “Underworld” I think, or maybe even “Van Helsing“. One of my favorite werewolf movies is “An American Werewolf in London”, that was so righteous. Anyways, this tutorial will show you “how to draw a cartoon werewolf" step by step. The best part about drawing a werewolf is, you don’t have to wait for Halloween to draw one out and have fun with. I have a lot more fun characters coming up for you all to enjoy and learn form so stay tuned in and have fun today with this lesson. Peace out and enjoy.

STEP 1.
Start with some shapes and lines. Draw a circle for the head of the werewolf and then add the facial guidelines. Next draw a larger circle around the head shape for the hunched over back. On that big shape you will add the limb guidelines and the shapes for the hands and feet.
STEP 2.
Now in step two you will start sketching out the shape of the werewolf ears which look a lot like German shepherd ears. Next, use the facial guidelines to draw out the shapes of the eyes, snout and open mouth.
STEP 3.
Add some thick color and detail to the eyes and then sketch in the wrinkles on top of the werewolf's snout. You will then start sketching in the sharp werewolf teeth on both the top and bottom rows of the mouth.
STEP 4.
Okay now the fun begins, start sketching out the hairy back which is lumped over and then sketch out the shape of the werewolf's face and head. When that is done you can sketch in the detailing inside if the ears and then draw a nose tip shape. Add some detailing inside of the werewolf's mouth and then move to the next step.
STEP 5.
Start sketching out the rest of the werewolf's body which includes the muscular arms, fingers and some of the chest. Remember to make the lines jagged to emphasis fur and or hair.
STEP 6.
Finish sketching out the shapes of the arms, hands and claws. Once that is done sketch in some nice detailing to the arms to make them appear more muscular. Once that is done sketch out some more torso shape and then sketch out the ripped pants that the werewolf is wearing.
STEP 7.
This is your last drawing step and as you can see you will sketch out the werewolf's legs and feet. Once that is done sketch out the tail and then add some minor detailing as well. You will be able to start erasing the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one to prepare your monster for color.
STEP 8.
Here is what your werewolf should look like when you are done. Color him in and you got yourself a finished tutorial on "how to draw a cartoon werewolf" step by step.Comments: Post Comment
