How to Draw a Zombie Face
How about a lesson on another zombie from the very pages of my imagination? I drew this figure live yesterday and today I an extremely excited to be submitting it to you all. I will be showing you "how to draw a zombie face" step by step. I am calling this lesson “zombie face” because that is what you will initially be doing. I know that there is half of a torso and even an arm, but unlike my other zombie tutorial that I drew back in 2007, I really tried to focus more on the upper body aspect of this hideous looking, grotesque being. One of my favorite movies that I watched a while ago is “28 Weeks Later”, I mean that movie was pure rawness. This zombie human that I am going to show you how to draw is wicked cool. The body texture is so detailed that it took me hours to complete. I really didn’t color in the zombie too much, but if you wanted to add your own shading that would be fine. It’s all up to the artists that is drawing. Anyway I have to get outta here right now because I have a lot more lessons to submit. I will leave you with tutorial on “how to draw a zombie face” step by step. Have fun and happy drawing guys!

STEP 1.
In the first step to drawing a zombie face you will draw the guidelines and shapes. Start with a circle for the zombies head and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw out the shoulder lines as well as the arm lines, torso and stomach.
STEP 2.
Now that the frame for the zombie is drawn out you can start sketching out the shape of the head, face and neck. The zombie has a wide open mouth because he is looking for brains to eat. On the sides of the zombies head you will also need to draw the bumps for the ears and chin.
STEP 3.
Step three is pretty simple. You will draw out the eyes, add lining for the nose and temples, and then draw in the mouth gums, teeth and torn tissue on the right side of the face. Next sketch out the exposed collar and neck bones and then begin sketching out the zombies left side of the torso, waist and upper arm.
STEP 4.
Next start sketching in the tissue decay on the face as you see here. Remember guys you can enlarge each step if you wish so you can get a bigger picture of what to do next. Once the face is defined and detailed you can sketch out the forearm bone on the left arm and then begin sketching out the left shoulder and half the arm because I decided a torn off arm was best. Sketch out the stomach abs and then some shading to emphasis the body.
STEP 5.
All you have to do in this step is sketch in all the shading. The shading is very important to this zombie creature because it not only adds depth and detail, it will also add definition for the torso like the ribs and exposed muscle tissue on the right side. Along with the shading you will need to sketch out the bony hand and exposed bone on the right arm. Detail and define the chest and stomach some more before moving to the next step.
STEP 6.
You are already on step six which means there is only one more step that you need to draw in. I think you are doing a fantastic job so far so keep up the good work. What you will do next is sketch in some more detailing to the face, inside of the zombie's mouth, chin, neck, shoulders and collar. All this is done by sketching in the shading you see here.
STEP 7.
Here is your last drawing step and before you start detailing further you need to start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one. Once that is complete you will darken your shading in the areas shown to you here and add more shading to define the eyes, head and mouth.
STEP 8.
Once you are done your zombie should look like the one you see here. If you like you can add some color for heightened detail, but you don't have to if you don't want to. You have finished this lesson on how to draw a zombie face step by step.Comments: Post Comment
