How to Draw Punk

1

Start out with the guidelines and shapes which will form the head, torso and limbs.

2

Next, use the head guide to draw the shape of the face. You will then need to draw one line for the hair strand of her long straight locks.

3

Complete the shape of the head by drawing out the hairstyle. As I said, its long and straight.

4

Define the hairstyle by drawing the strand lines from root to end.

5

We will use the facial guidelines to draw out the long arched shape of the eyebrows. When that is done you can draw in the eyes, nose and mouth. The mouth is a smirkish grin and the eyes should be drawn to look mischievous.

6

Up next, draw in the neck, shoulders and pretty toned arms or arm. Add definition and detail to the torso, then sketch in the ragged shirt she is wearing. We will also need to add some creases to the shoulder part of the shirt and then add more stran

7

Up next, we will draw the gloves as well as the folded hands forming a fist. Draw the hips or waist and then draw the sides of her body.

8

Detail the shirt by adding some tattered holes and then draw the bandage straps on the gloves. Sketch in the belly definition and the tone definition on the arms.

9

For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw in the belt and belt hoops. You will draw in the legs and add some shading between the legs. Erase the mistakes and all the guidelines that you made along the way.

Here is the line art, color her in using any shade of color you want. I just chose to stay grey.

Description: Wow, I never thought I would get this drawing concept done when I very first started the concept. In the beginning I didn't have a clue what I wanted to draw and somehow, the girl I was drawing turned into a rebellious punk chick who had the personality of a loner and viper all in one package. She is rough, tough and full of steam. At first glance you would think that she was some kind of comic book character, but in all reality she is just a figment of my imagination. Even though I haven't been too active on Drago, I still managed to stay creative by drawing once in a while to keep the creative juices flowing and to keep my mind going. I do hope you like this tutorial on how to draw punk, I had fun making her and I think you will too.
