How to Draw a Tiger Tattoo
Hello all you avid artists out there and welcome back to another drawing tutorial that will once again fall in the tattoo category. I think most of you will find this next tattoo design absolutely amazing and full of animal energy. I am going to show you how to draw a tiger tattoo step by step. Tiger tattoos are probably one of the most popular animals that get inked on people’s bodies no matter what body part that might be. I love tigers, and because of that I wanted to draw a tattoo that sort of resembles my fathers tattoo that he has on his shoulder. The yin tang was a nice touch I think because as you know tigers, are often used with Asian designs. The flames are freakin awesome as well and I also added three Chinese words that represent each object in the drawing. I think you will find drawing animal tattoo designs is a lot easier than most people think. I am putting this art in my favorites section on my art portfolio that I have. Well anyway, I am going to leave you guys now but I shall return with more drawing fun. In the mean time you should tackle this lesson on how to draw a tiger tattoo step by step. STEP 1.
You will start this tiger tattoo with two circles, one for the tiger head, and one for the tiger's body. Next add the facial guidelines and then draw out the front leg line and the shape of the tiger's paw or foot. Don't forget to draw the guideline for the back and tail.
STEP 2.
You will start step two by learning how to draw he tigers body starting with the back, and right hind leg. Next use the facial guidelines to start drawing out the eyes, nose and open mouth.
STEP 3.
Next detail the back of the tiger and then start sketching out the shape of his front leg as seen here. You will then start sketching out the shape of the tigers head, face and ears. Finish the eyes and then start drawing the tiger's teeth as you see it drawn for you here.
STEP 4.
You are almost done with this tattoo design tutorial on how to draw a tiger tattoo. What I want you to do here is draw the shape of the tiger's tail and then add definition to his spine. Next, detail inside of the ears and then start sketching the whiskers, bottom teeth, and then detail and define the front leg and paw including the claws.
STEP 5.
You will now take your time and sketch out every single tiger stripe you see here. but first you must start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one. All the stripes are different so try and not make them identical because your tiger will come out looking like a flat sketch. Once that is done you will then color in your stripes and then move to the last drawing step.
STEP 6.
Now this is your last drawing step and all you have to do is finish drawing the whiskers and then finish the nails. You will then draw out the yin yang as well.
STEP 7.
Here is what your tattoo design should look like when you are done. Color in your art or take it to your favorite tattoo parlor to get it inked on your skin. I hope you had fun learning "how to draw a tiger tattoo" step by stepPost a comment
