Halloween Scarecrow Silhouette Drawing Lesson

We will begin like we always do and that is to draw a head and body guidelines. Sketch in the facial guidelines as well.

Start drawing the scarecrow's hat and then draw the outline of the face.

You will now draw the shoulders and arms, then draw the hay that is spurting from the sleeves. Don't forget to add the hay poking from the sleeve as well near the arm pit.

We will cap off the bottom of the shirt and draw the rest of the scarecrow's body. The wispy ends need to be drawn in a neat manner.

Lastly, draw and color in the pole, then draw in the creepy face. Erase the mistakes if you made any and the guides too.

Description: It's official, only nine days left for Halloween so I will be pulling out all the stops with these next tuts folks. First, let us tackle a very scary lesson on drawing a Halloween Scarecrow, step by step in the form of a silhouette. The only thing that is really visible are the orange colored eyes and smile. The rest is left to the imagination which I think is pretty cool. This lesson shouldn't be complex for anyone to tackle since it is just a silhouette of a scarecrow. These signature objects are one of the most popular decorative pieces that people use to dress up their houses and for farmers, they are used to scare away crows and other birds. Anyways, go ahead and enjoy the lesson. I will be back in a bit with some other cool tuts so stick around to see what they are.
