How to Draw Time

1

Today we will start with the head shape guide and then draw the guidelines for the shoulders, arms, torso and hips.

2

Define the shape of the face and head and then draw the ears. Add detailing inside the ears as well.

3

We will now work on the face. Start with the eyebrows, eyes, nose and mouth. Draw in the lips, the lashes and then the detailing to the cheeks.

4

Up next, draw the shape of the neck. When that is done you can sketch out the shoulders, arms and then some of her chest.

5

We will finish the body by drawing the shape of her waist, then move on down to her hips and thighs. When that is done add the naval and pelvic lines.

6

You can now sketch out the hands. Along with the hands draw the ripped open torso with the sketch of her heart exposed. Add the small fine detailing around the chest and then add the detailing to the arms.

7

Finish it all off by drawing the hairstyle which is long, curly and upright. Add detailing and definition to her hair as well. When you are confident that the drawing is finished, go ahead and erase the mistakes and all the guides.

8

Here is the line art folks. All you have to do now is draw the clock behind her and add some color.

Description: I'm sure everyone is familiar with the phrase 'only time can heal a broken or hurt heart'. Since I sympathize with people who are hurting from a break-up, loss, or plain out depression, I wanted to do a lesson or drawing based on the concept of how time heals all. Today we will be learning how to draw time in the form of a figure ripping open her chest revealing her heart inside. The clock behind her is there to let her know that time will bring peace back to her life as well as serenity. I hope some of you will enjoy this lesson. The art itself took me around three hours. I love how it came out and I am happy to be sharing the art with all of you. Adios my people!
