The first thing you are gonna want to do is to start drawing your trees that surround the lake. Start off slow and do one side at a time. Sketch out the shapes of the trees along with the foliage scattered around.

2

We will now draw in the log from the fallen tree that is just laying on the ground rotting. Add the wood grain to the tree and also sketch in some of the water line.

3

Lastly, draw in the remaining water line which is like a big bowl. It escapes through the back like you can see it drawn out here. Erase any and all mistakes.

4

And that my friends is how you draw Deep Lake or a fishing hole, step by step. I hope you had fun, just color in the drawing and you're done.

Description: I know many of you will probably not even tackle this lesson, but for those of you who love scenery tuts and like to spend your days fishing, I think you will like this tutorial. Today I will be showing you how to draw a fishing lake, step by step. The lake in this drawing is of an actual place that I've been to on more than one occasion. It's called 'Deep Lake' and people go there mainly for fishing brook trout, but you can also swim in the water as well. Deep Lake is in the North East part of the United States, and aside from there being a butt-load of mosquitoes, it's a pretty chill place to hang out and enjoy a quiet fishing day. I love fishing, I do mainly fresh water because there is no ocean near my neck of the woods, but it's okay because it's pretty peaceful. Anyways, have fun drawing a fishing lake or hole, or whatever you want to call it. I have a ton more lessons coming your way so stick around.
