How to Draw Jessica Rabbit
That evil skull was pretty cool huh? How about we move to a more softer side of drawing shall we? I wanted to do a really sexy cartoon character but I was stuck mentally trying to figure out if a character like that even existed. I mean I know that Betty Boop is a sexy animated female, but isn’t there anyone else? Of course! I will teach you “how to draw Jessica Rabbit” step by step. Jessica is probably one of my favorite characters from the movie “Roger Rabbit”. Her character is supposed to be a sleek and sexy lounge singer that works at ‘The Ink and Paint Club” located in Los Angeles. Jessica is also married to the very comical Roger Rabbit and when Eddie Valiant asked her why she was married to Roger she simply said “He makes me laugh”. Jessica Rabbit’s voice actor is ”Kathleen Turner” and if you ask me they did an awesome job choosing her voice talent for such a sultry character. In the creation of Jessica Rabbit, she was based upon three different ladies from the past; Lauren Bacall, Rita Hayworth, and Veronica Lake. All three ladies were some of the sex symbols back in the late forties to early fifties. She is basically seen just wearing a long, body clinging red dress, long red hair that covers her left eye if you look at her head on face to face. I had a lot of fun drawing out this character because she was amazingly easy to do. I will now show you “how to draw Jessica Rabbit from Who Framed Roger Rabbit step by step“. STEP 1.
For your first step on Jessica Rabbit you will start with a circle for the head and then add her facial guidelines. Next attach body guidelines for her neck, shoulders, arms, hips, and dress. The last thing you need to do is draw a circle for her chest.
STEP 2.
You will now start drawing out the style of her hair and then draw out the shape of her long batting eye. Next start the lining for her lips and then draw out Jessica Rabbit's face shape, ear and earring.
STEP 3.
Now that the top half of Jessica Rabbit is drawn out you can start drawing out the shapes of her arms, hands, hips and long evening dress.
STEP 4.
You will now start drawing out the slit of her long evening dress and then the shape of her leg and foot.
STEP 5.
Well, this is your last drawing step and all you have to do is detail her dress and then draw the shoe lines. Erase all the guidelines that you drew in step one.
STEP 6.
Now that your sexy vixen is drawn out your picture should look like the one you see here. Color her in and you have a finished drawing of the lady in red. You have just learned "how to draw Jessica Rabbit" step by step.Comments: Post Comment
