Like all birds, penguins start as an egg. The best way to do this is to draw a round-ish shape for the head, an almost-oval for the body, and a couple of little connecting lines. Draw a center line down the body and another across the face. Tip: do steps 1-8 in pencil.
Draw 2 triangular prisms for the beginnings of feet.
Round off the feet.
Add eyes (two ovals sitting on the center line with pupils) and a beak (a squashed circle hanging just below eyes & center line -leaving no space- with a cute little smiley:)
He is waving with his left flipper, so it is up over his head. Beginning just a little ways below the beak, make a slightly curved line extending up over his head. Then, make a slightly more curvy line from there to about half way between the head and the body.
The right flipper is bent, so it is drawn in two segments. First, draw an upside-down version of the first flipper with a line about halfway down.
Starting at the top of the line you just drew, draw a curve almost to the center line, then another back to the bottom of the "Flipper-line"
Almost done! Add a tummy patch now. Halfway from each end of the beak to the center line, start a line. This line goes straight down until it meets the body, where it bulges out to the sides.
Now go over the lines you want to keep in pen.
There! Erase your pencil lines and have fun colouring your cute little friend.
Today we will draw a basic waving penguin from Club Penguin. This is my first attempt at a tutorial, so wish me luck! And feel free to comment; I'm always on the lookout for tips! P.S.: More Club Penguin tutorials coming soon from yours truly!
