1

Start off by drawing an odd shape like you see here that looks sort of like a slug. Add the guideline in the center.

2

Next, define the shape of Destiny's body which should look massive and wide. Whale sharks have wide shaped heads that are sort of flat looking too. When you get the structure right, draw in the first fin.

3

Finish Destiny's body by drawing the tail fin, pectoral fin and dorsal fin. Add some striped lines down the back of her body near the tail.

4

Lastly, draw the marking lines that separates the two toned color from the top of the whale shark to the underbelly. Draw the spaced out eyes and then the big friendly smiling mouth. Erase the mistakes and guides.

5

Here is Destiny from Finding Dory. All you have to do nos is add her small spots and then color her in.

Description: For those of you that don't know, there is a sequel to Finding Nemo coming out in June of 2016 and it's called 'Finding Dory'. I think the film is going to be a big hit because Dory is such a well loved character, and since the movie will be focused on her, she is going to be even more popular with the film hits theaters this upcoming Summer. Today I will start the New Year with a couple lessons on Finding Dory characters with the first being how to draw Destiny, step by step. Destiny is a beautiful whale shark that is going to be one of Dory's main friends that will help her find what she is looking for. Destiny is going to be relatively easy to recreate so no worries about having any complications there. While you are busy with drawing Destiny from Finding Dory, I will prepare my next lesson so stay tuned in.
