How to Draw a Manger

Start by drawing the thick bedding of hay which is what fills the manger.

You will now draw the wooden box base like so and then step down to step three.

Add indentation in the hay bedding like so, and then draw in a rim line around the base of the manger.

Finish drawing the manger by drawing the four short wooden legs. When that is done you can erase the mistakes you might have made.

When you're all done the manger should come out looking like the one you see here. All that you have to do now is color it in.

Description: This is the last Christmas related lesson I will be submitting. Today we will tackle the very simple task of learning how to draw a manger, step by step. When folks hear the word 'manger' they automatically think of the a nativity. The fact is, the manger is what baby Jesus was laying in when he was born and when the three wise men came to visit the prince. Drawing this Christmas manger is not going to be as hard as you think. You will find some use to this concept and if you don't just draw a baby Jesus laying in the hay of the manger. Thanks guys and good luck.
