How many of you loved playing the Mario Bros games from Nintendo back in the day? Remember some of the bad guys that you had to defeat as well as all the workers that Bowser had on his payroll? Well someone requested a tutorial yesterday on a mushroom looking character from the game series. I will give you a hint, he is brown, round and has no arms. Give up? Well you will be learning how to draw a Goomba from Mario Bros. step by step. Now a Goomba is a reoccurring enemy that appears in the game series and even though we know these characters to be brown, they are actually orange and white in “Super Mario World”. Believe it or not but Goombas were creatures that lived in peace inside of the Mushroom Kingdom before Bowser came along and betrayed the only homeland they ever knew. These creatures have no arms, leaving then with just a stubby looking body resembling a mushroom to a T. I know you will find that this lesson is easy to draw even if you are a novice artist.
