Description: How about another tutorial on an anime/manga character from Naruto? If your thinking what I’m thinking, than I guess you already know what’s in store for you right now. It must have been like three weeks ago that I came across a few request on “how to draw Gaara”. Now I didn’t forget to fill the request, I just got too busy doing what I always do, drawing and updating my site to bring you guys optimum usages of DragoArt.com. Let’s talk a little about Gaara before I let you get to work on this lesson okay. Anyways as you know Gaara is from the hit show “Naruto”. He is probably one of the cooler looking characters because he has this bold black colored inner eye lines that really emphasis his face to no end. I will give you the basics about this character just so I can familiarize you with the show even if you do watch it on a regular basis. Gaara is the son of the Fourth Kazekage and is also the younger brother of Kankuro and Temari. The red headed character is sometimes called by his nickname of “Gaara of the Sand Waterfall” because he was raised as a tool of “Sunagakure” which means “village hidden in the sand”. Now when Gaara was extremely young his father had put in the order for Chiyo to seal the One-Tailed Shukaku within his infant son. He only did this because he had hoped that Gaara would one day become the ultimate weapon for “Suna”. In order for his father to proceed with the sealing, he needed a sacrifice and that sacrifice was Gaara’s mother Karura. Before Gaara lost his mother she placed a curse on Sunagakure in hopes that her son would one day seek out revenge on her death. Although it was his father that placed the power of Shukaku within his son, all the villagers hated the young boy for the monster that was within him. Gaara has many abilities that he uses during battle which includes the ability to manipulate sand. Some of the moves I know are; desert coffin, and sand clone. I’m sure that there is others but because I watch little of the show I haven’t been keeping up with the anime/manga series. This tutorial however will show you guys “how to draw Gaara step by step”. I hope you have fun remember to take your time and follow the steps. Peace out everybody.
