How to Draw Yato From Noragami

Make the head guide and then draw in the frame for the body.

Before drawing the shape of Yato's face you will first sketch out the shape of his head which also happens to be his hairstyle as well. His hair is layered and spiked.

Now you can define the shape of the face like so. When that is done draw Yato's eyes, nose and mouth.

The face is all done. Draw the neck and scarf that he wears around the base of his neck. This scarf looks tattered or worn.

We will now focus on getting the shoulders and arms drawn in. When that is done add detailing to the clothing. This includes wrinkles and creases.

Lastly, draw the zipper or opening seam line as well as the tag to the right. Add the crinkle on the jacket then you are done. Erase the mistakes and guides too folks.

Here is the finished line art. Go ahead and give your character some color. Yato is all done.

Description: So there is a new Japanese anime series that came out in October of this year, but the Manga has been around since 2010. Today, I will be giving you a lesson on the main character from the show, so here is how to draw Yato from Noragami, step by step. I actually wouldn't have known about this character if it wasn't for the requests that came in for him. He is some sort of war God trying to create his own shrine.
