How to Draw Mama Bear From Brave

1

Let us start out by drawing the two guide shapes which are for the body and head. Sketch in the facial guidelines and then draw the leg limbs.

2

Using the head guide you just made, sketch out the structure of Mama Bear's head and don't forget the ears.

3

Now we will use the facial guidelines to draw in the eyes, nose and then mouth. Notice the eye lids are thick and bold with small lashes. Add detailing inside the ears as well.

4

Finish the eyes by drawing out the actual eyeballs. Color in some pupils and then add the brows.

5

We will now draw the neck, back and hind leg followed by the tail.

6

We will move forward by drawing the chest and front legs. When that is done draw the claws on her paws.

7

Finally, draw the back legs and paws followed by the claws and stomach. You are ready to erase your mistakes and guides.

8

You are all set. Just color in Mama Bear or Queen Elinor before you show off your work to others.

Description: I almost forgot to upload this lesson on the last Brave character from the Disney cartoon film. Everyone knows that Merida's mother turned into a great big bear and if the spell wasn't broken in time she would remain a bear without any recognition of who she was. Today, I will be showing you how to draw Mama Bear from Brave, step by step. Her real name is Queen Elinor, and like I said, Elinor turns into a bear once she eats a cake brought to the castle by Merida from a witch she visited. I love the way that Mama Bear came out, and even though the movie is a few years old, it's still a very popular film. Peace out folks and enjoy drawing Queen Elinor in her bear form.
