Skater Skull Drawing Lesson

1

We will start the first step by drawing some basic guides and shapes to create the body frame for your skateboarder.

2

Using the head guide begin sketching out the shape of the head and then proceed to draw the profile of the skeleton's face like you see here. The jaw is low because this guy is screaming. Add some teeth and you're done.

3

Continue to work on the face by drawing more of the skull's jaw. You will fill in the bottom part of the mouth with teeth and then add indents on the sides of the head.

4

Here you will draw the mohawk which is long and spiky. When that is done go ahead and draw in the thick shape of the neck followed by the small spine bones.

5

Up next, draw the torso of your skeleton by drawing the jacket and arm. The sleeve and rest of the jacket should be baggy. There should also be holes on the sweater or some tattered parts of the coat.

6

We will work on the body next. This is the legs in a bent style or formation. Add a seam line down the side of the pants and then proceed to step seven.

7

Create the torso or shirt and then draw the foot or sneaker for your skeleton. Add the sole and then proceed to step eight.

8

Add the wheels on the bottom of the board and then the bars.

9

Lastly, draw in the skateboard body and then draw in the skeletal hand followed by the chain that hangs out the pocket. Erase the mistakes and guides as well.

10

Here is the line art folks. Now you can color in your skeleton skateboarder to which ever style you like.

Description: Howdy ho everyone and welcome back to another awesome lesson filled day. I will begin by showing everyone how to draw a skater skull, step by step. I have been listening to a lot of Nirvana lately and whenever I do, I think of skaters or skateboarders. This concept has been in the works for a couple weeks, and now it's finally grazing the front page of Drago for folks to enjoy. I do hope you have fun with this tutorial, it tool me a while to complete it because of the body pose, but all in all I think it came out great. I will return soon with more so stick around.
