How to Draw the Slipknot Symbol
I wanted to do a lesson on a symbol from a band that I already drew the characters for. This first lesson of the day will be on “how to draw the Slipknot symbol” step by step. I did a tutorial on some of the Slipknot band members, but I drew them in a Chibi form. That tutorial has all the information you want to know about the band from beginning to presant day. Slipknot’s band symbol was requested by a DragoArt member a while ago and I finally got around to filling the request. The drawing took me a little over two hours because I wanted to make sure that the lining was sharp, neat and easy to replicate. There really is no colors to shade the Slipknot logo in except for black or red, I left the inside white and the outline a bold black. I think that you guys will find this lesson on “how to draw Slipknot logo” step by step easy to follow and understand. There really is nothing to it at all and you will see exactly what I mean when you start the lesson. STEP 1.
Draw the lining of an "S" for the beginning lining for this tutorial on how to draw Slipknot logo. Draw a vertical line straight through the "S" and then a small horizontal line in the middle of the letter.
STEP 2.
You will start drawing out the tribal lines that makes up the Slipknot symbol. The top tribal spikes look almost like two devil horns and a spike in the middle. When you are done follow the lining on the left side of the "S" guideline.
STEP 3.
You will now start sketching out the inner tribal lines for the "S" of the Slipknot symbol. There is also tribal spikes drawn as seen here and once that is complete you can move to the next step.
STEP 4.
As you can see the tribal art design of the Slipknot logo is getting bigger and thicker. The lines are forming tribal shapes, and you must learn how to draw them. Start in the back part of the "S", and then draw more of the shape on the right side of the band logo you see here.
STEP 5.
You are almost done learning how to draw Slipknot symbol and as you can see all you have to do is draw more tribal design lines on the lower left hand side and then point it out at the bottom. See how easy each step gets!
STEP 6.
This is your last drawing step which means you will complete this lesson on "how to draw Slipknot symbol". All you have to do is draw out the inner swirl of the "S" which is also in a tribal art design. Erase the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one and proceed onto the finished product.
STEP 7.
Here you have your newly drawn out band logo. Color it in and you have finished this tutorial on "how to draw the Slipknot logo step by step".Comments: Post Comment
