How to Draw a Skull For Beginners

1

Make a circle and then sketch in the facial guidelines.

2

Next, you will use the guide you made in step one to draw the cheek bone definition and the shapes of the brows.

3

Next, draw out and color in the eyes and then draw the nasal cavity as well as color it in.

4

Define the head shape using the head guide you made, then define the eyes by drawing the lid brows. Don't forget the dimples on the temples and you can move to step five.

5

Draw the jaw shape and then add an indent for the chin creating a dimpled chin bone.

6

Here we will focus on the mouth by drawing the gum line. This will prepare your skull for teeth.

7

Okay folks, are you ready to finish this drawing? Good, draw the teeth and then draw the gum line for the bottom row of teeth. Add the dimples on the bottom jaw line and erase your mistakes as well as the guides.

That's it folks. You have successfully made your very own skull drawing if the finished sketch comes out looking like the one you see here.
