How to Draw Maggie, Step by Step, Cartoons, Cartoons, Draw Cartoon Characters, FREE Online Drawing Tutorial, Added by Dawn, May 31, 2009, 3:55:05 pm

Draw two circles for Maggie Simpson's body, one for the head and one for her body. Add the facial guidelines and then the body guidelines as seen here.

STEP 2.

You will then draw out Maggie's head shape which also happens to be her hair. The shape of her hair/head contains eight cone like shapes. Draw a line for the back of her neck and the using the facial guidelines draw two circles for her eyes.

STEP 3.

See I told you that this lesson was going to be very easy. You will now draw out Maggie's cute bow and then add the eyelashes and dots for her eyeballs. Draw her nose, the left side of her face and then her pacifier. Draw Maggie's right ear and then move to the next step.

STEP 4.

You will draw out the rest of her neck and then draw the shape of her shoulders, arms, and the mid part of her gown.

STEP 5.

Draw out Maggie's hand and fingers and then the rest of her infant gown. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

STEP 6.

This is what your character should look like when you are done. All you have to do now is color her in and you have just completed this tutorial on "how to draw Maggie Simpson from The Simpsons step by step"

Artist CommentsThe Simpsons………… How many people here watch that awesome animated show? I know I watch it at least three times a week on cable and every time I do, I laugh harder and harder. I was watching the show yesterday and it was about Maggie, (you know the baby sister of Bart and Lisa). Anyway, as I was watching the show it dawned on me that I never made a tutorial out of this silent character. So this first lesson will be on “how to draw Maggie Simpson from The Simpsons” step by step. Maggie was a real blast to draw because she is so simple looking and innocent. There really isn’t too much to say about Maggie because she really doesn’t do anything on the series. All I can tell you about her is that her real is Margaret Simpson and she is about one years old. She is always seen sucking on her pacifier and when she walks she is often tripping on herself from her long nightgown. Other than that her father is Homer and her mother is Marge, and she doesn’t go to school yet. The reason why she is funny is because she sometimes hits her father on the head, or does something sneaky. Maggie Simpson will probably not get anymore entertaining until she is older and able to do things that her brother and sister do. She has been an infant for years already and I am still waiting for her to grow up just a little bit. The show is awesome nevertheless and all the characters fit well in the series.
