1

Draw a circle then the jaw line under it. Make the guidelines for the eyebrows , eyes and mouth. Roughly sketch the neck and shoulders .

2

Now sketch the hair and make the outline of the face .

3

Finally sketch the details

4

Now your sketch should look like this .

5

With a 2B pencil quickly hash the main dark areas , all over the drawing, including the hair.

6

Now blend every area you hashed except the hair .

7

Now add a darker layer and smudge it as well . Use a 3B pencil, or even the same 2B but you have to press harder.

8

After you've smudged make a few more slight shadows and a few details.

9

Draw one half of the hair , it's mostly black so you don't have to go into much detail.

10

Now make the other half of the hair and leave a few highlights .

11

Finally draw the shirt black and you're done.
