Who is two inches tall, has a wonderful singing voice, and who helps a wooden boy do the right thing? If you have guessed Jiminy Cricket than you guessed right. "Pinocchio" was such an awesome Disney cartoon as I came to realize last night when I watched it with my baby sister. Jiminy Cricket is introduced when he sneaks inside of Geppetto's wooden shop for shelter. As he makes himself comfy, noise and music starts to take place and later he is asked by the “Blue Fairy” to officially become Pinocchio's conscience until his goals are reached in order for him to become a real boy. Jiminy's original character written by “Carlo Collodi” in the novel “Pinocchio” didn't have a name and was only of minor importance in the book. It was Disney that gave the unnamed insect a life, name and personality. Now we know Jiminy Cricket as the little bug that goes with Pinocchio on his adventures. There really isn't much more to say about Jiminy because he is a character that explains himself. I'm sure that I don't have to ramble on about the flick and what he did through the whole movie. Learning “how to draw Disney characters” is always fun, and if you come to DragoArt to learn from, than you will see that almost all the tutorials are easy to follow and understand. Maybe next time I will do lessons on “how to draw Cleo the goldfish” and 'Figaro the cat”. One of the prettiest things in the movie was the Blue Fairy. Anyway, I will be leaving now because I still have two more lessons to upload. Stay tuned into the site and start drawing with this tutorial on “how to draw Jiminy Cricket from Pinocchio step by step”. Peace out and stay creative!
