Like always, draw the face guidelines by first drawing the egg shape and then the intersection of crossed lines in the center. This will be our base that will help you proportion the distance of the eyes from forehead and to make sure they are diagon

Now, let's draw the face shape for the chin and then the ears.

Then, draw the fluffy and curled hair. If you want, you can draw your Cupid with any hairstyle you'd like. I find this curly and short style to fit the traditional Valentines Cupid best.

Finish off the ears by drawing swirl styled ear detailing.

Let's start moving attention to the facials. First draw the large overly oval eyes, and then use those eyes as guidelines to proportionally place the rest of the facials (like the nose, mouth, brows, etc.)

Lastly, draw the cute little halo slightly tilted to the left above our cute lil' Cupid's head!
